We collect your phone number (for SMS event notifications), display name (shown to organizers), and a payment method fingerprint (used as an identity anchor, never charged unless you choose to support us). We also store your event participation history and reliability data.
Your phone number is used exclusively for event-related SMS messages: prompts, confirmations, stand-downs, and occasional milestone messages. We never share your phone number with other members or organizers. Your display name is visible to series organizers to facilitate event management.
By signing up, you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from We're On related to events you subscribe to. Message frequency varies based on your subscriptions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all SMS communications. Reply HELP for support information.
Payment method details are processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We retain a card fingerprint (a non-reversible identifier) to prevent banned users from creating new accounts. If you choose to become a supporter, Stripe processes your monthly contribution.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with our service providers (Supabase for data storage, Twilio for SMS delivery, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting) as necessary to operate the service.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Participation and reliability data is retained to maintain the integrity of the reliability system. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data in transit (TLS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. Webhook endpoints are verified using provider signatures.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
